High testosterone in women is affecting up to 4 in 10 fertile women!

Commonly referred to as PCOS, I have referred to it as Female Hormone Disorder (FHD).

My best selling book, Beauty and the Beast Within is about this phenomena.

Potential causes of elevated testosterone

- estrogen pathways

- insulin pathways

- psychological elements (masculine activities)

And some basics on how to recognise high testosterone in yourself:

- Psychological : Aggression, irritability, inability to relax, anger, broken sleep, competitiveness

- Physical : acne, unwanted facial or body hair, receding hair line, belly fat, cysts on the ovaries, infertility, longer cycles or no period, fat distribution on the neck.
